Whenever we have had teams come to visit us at Life Together Nicaragua, we would take them to the garbage dump in Cristo Rey to feed the workers there. Teams would pass out food, pray over workers and bring little gifts to hand out to the workers. In 2018, we felt called to continue this program even when teams weren’t in Cristo Rey. In January of 2018, we started feeding the workers in the garbage dump every Thursday. Over time, our numbers have grown. We currently feed about 120 workers from ages 4-74. We provide them with a nutritional lunch and drink.
