Life Together Nicaragua is a significant conduit for breaking the poverty cycle for the people of Cristo Rey. We do it every day.
However, due to a surge in need, and other various uncontrollable outcomes, life has pushed us beyond our financial limits. Without emergency support, we will be forced to scale back—or even pause—essential services that so many depend on.
We have assembled some testimonials from several of the students whose lives have been impacted. Help us keep the momentum going!

Because of Him, we will partner with established believers to feed His flock, build homes, strengthen communities, and make disciples through education and teaching. In all this, we share life together.
Cristo Rey is a barrio (neighborhood) in Tipitapa, Nicaragua, where many families were relocated from Managua’s city dump. Families arrived to what was then an undeveloped yucca field with little access to water, electricity, food, or adequate shelter. Over the years, Cristo Rey has grown into a vibrant community that thousands of people call home.
Life Together Nicaragua has been part of this community since 2013, walking alongside families through relationships, education, nutrition, and practical support. Our desire is to meet immediate needs while investing in long-term opportunities for children and families – and, through it all, to share the love and hope of Jesus.
What We Do
Children’s Feeding Program
Christ the King’s Kitchen provides the only meal of the day for many children in Cristo Rey, offering not just nutrition but also hope and belonging.
Senior Feeding Program
Christ the King’s Kitchen provides seniors in Cristo Rey with nutritious meals and a sense of community, often serving as their primary source of sustenance.
Student Sponsorships
Education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty in Cristo Rey. Since 2014, the Student Enrichment Program has helped students access quality education, with many becoming the first in their families to graduate high school.
Christmas in Cristo Rey
In December, we host a special Christmas Celebration for the children and seniors in our feeding program. The day includes a festive lunch, and each participant receives a bag of provisions to help them through the holiday season.
Team Visits
A mission trip is a life-changing experience. It will shift your perspective to see the world through Jesus’ eyes. Material things fade in importance, money becomes just a tool, and love becomes the driving force as you share God’s compassion with those in need.

Who We Are
Founded in 2013, Life Together Nicaragua is a Christ-centered nonprofit serving alongside the community of Cristo Rey, Nicaragua. We believe we were created to live life together – sharing burdens, building meaningful relationships, and reflecting the love of Jesus through both words and actions.
Our ministries provide nutritious meals, support students from elementary school through university, and care for seniors, families in difficult circumstances, and children experiencing malnutrition.
Mission teams join us not simply to complete projects, but to serve alongside our Nicaraguan community, build relationships, and experience the Gospel in a different context.
At its heart, Life Together Nicaragua is about people walking alongside one another, sharing burdens, celebrating successes, and experiencing the love of Jesus together.
