Christmas In Cristo Rey!
It’s our chance to shower the community with extra special gifts that go above and beyond the daily meals we provide on December 18th!
Why this extra special day? The feeding center staff take a much needed rest starting December 19th to spend time with their families and enjoy the holiday season. Which means for about two weeks there is no daily feeding program.
To bridge that gap, we mobilize our staff and volunteers to provide food provision bags for the families we normally serve in an effort to help sustain these wonderful people for those 2 weeks – and give them a little something extra just cause we love them and we want them to know Jesus loves them too!
But we can’t do it without you!
Each provisional bag costs just $40 to put together so that’s what we are asking. Each year we give out about 200 bags so we need around $8000 to pull this off.
Each provisional bag is only $40… and it feeds a family for a week!
